Crisis Counseling

Crisis Counseling is provided to students and their families facing emergency situations.  Such counseling is normally short-term and temporary in nature.  When necessary, appropriate referral sources are used. Parent permission is required for 3 or more counseling visits; at this time the crisis counseling becomes individual counseling.  If your child is experiencing a personal or family crisis, please contact the school counselor at your child's school.  If it is after-school hours, please contact the local crisis hotline at 1.800.395.2132.  Regardless, if it is an emergency, please immediately dial 9-1-1.
